This is where exchanges for used building parts take on brokerage and warehousing functions as well.
Sometimes marketplace employees themselves dismount components and sort them in the warehouses.
Private and commercial buyers can also purchase the building components online. In addition, the marketplaces offer training and consultation on building with recycled materials.
So far, eleven such marketplaces have joined forces in a Germany-wide network.
